Regional Fodder Station, Hisar (Haryana) was established in 1969 with 150 acres of land handed over by State Government Livestock Farm, Hisar (Haryana).
The farm is located on Hisar Delhi bypass road opposite Aviation club. It is about 5 Kms away from Bus Stand, Hisar. The farm is surrounded by Engineering College, State Forest Department and good developed HUDA colony of civilians. Besides, farm is protected with concrete boundary wall. Thus, there is no threat of damage to fodder crops by any means except exceptional cases.
This is a model Central Government Fodder Farm.
The jurisdiction of this Station is Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi & U.T Chandigarh.

Irrigation:- No Sufficient canal water is available. Though station has got 4 deep borwells but ground water is saline in nature. It is mixed with canal water to cover maximum area.
